Our services

We design, install, and steward native plant gardens that function as urban habitat. We work with residential, commercial, and community clients across Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area. Our work is guided by a specific ecological approach. You can read more about it here.

Design

Design work begins with observation of light, soil, and moisture conditions. Plant selection is driven by site analysis, not a standard palette. Every planting plan is built from ecological conditions on the ground.

Typical scope:

  • Site analysis and consultation

  • Custom planting plans

  • Integration of pathways, water management, and habitat features

Installation

Careful site preparation and regionally appropriate native plants, sourced from Ontario nurseries and installed with attention to spacing, succession, and future growth.

Typical scope:

  • Soil assessment and ecologically appropriate site preparation

  • Native plant sourcing and softscape installation

  • Mulching and early-stage weed management

Stewardship

Native plant gardens evolve over time. This service provides adaptive care, seasonal attention, and ongoing observation as plant communities mature.

Typical scope:

  • Seasonal maintenance and strategic weeding

  • Adaptive planting and species adjustments

  • Invasive species monitoring and removal
